We’re back with the RG School of Skating at ICE At Santa Monica! For the past four years, I’ve been honored to present this program to the community, offering an on-ice program for the recreational skater – from the first steps on the ice to the more seasoned skater, offering group, private and semi-private lessons in a pleasant and easy atmosphere, allowing you the experience the joy of skating combining basic instruction along with the newest advanced teaching techniques for any family, child or adult.
Each member of our coaching staff is an experienced professional, having either competed at the elite level or performed professionally in various ice shows around the world. All instructors are versed in basic skills and advanced training and instruction for both children and adults and are PSA, USFS or ISI member coaches.
This year’s coaching staff includes: Lisa Capri, Jennifer Don, Aurora Hall and Robyn Morris. All coaches are available for private and group instruction through January 15, 2017.
We’re located right in the heart of Downtown Santa Monica, two blocks from Third Street Promenade and Santa Monica Place. After skating, I often go holiday shopping at one of the many shops in the area, including designer driven stores, boutiques, department stores and then lunch at one of the many fine restaurants offered in Santa Monica! Here’s what you can look forward to…
About ICE At Santa Monica: Every holiday season Downtown Santa Monica brings a little ice to our beachside community, transforming the corner of Fifth Street and Arizona Avenue into the winter wonderland known as ICE at Santa Monica, an 8,000-square-foot ice-skating rink.
The perfect place to celebrate the holidays, hang out with friends and family, throw a party in a private event cabana, enjoy a first date or sign up for skate lessons. ICE at Santa Monica has become a beloved tradition. Join the fun and visit Downtown Santa Monica this season to experience ICE.
For skating lessons:
I have my skates sharpened and ready to go! Hope to see you there. -RG
